We are heading up to fish Grindstone for smallmouth this weekend and wondering if anyone has been out chasing em? Water temp? or any information that will help us put fish in the boat would be greatly appreciated!!

If they are reacting anything like they are straight east of Hayward in Mincoqua, they are sitting right on the break off their spawning structure. They should also light up the rest of this week into the weekend. It sounds like hard, suspending baits are doing most of the damage and that plastics are just starting to warm up in the equation… water temps over here are still running anything from low to mid 40’s to the mid 50’s…
