May have asked before, but looking for a hammer handle lake for ice time. Would like lots of flags, size does not matter. Ask me about a good one for mid-sized pike and I can pm you some ideas (mid would be 30”-40”) Thanks

Not sure about through the ice, but I can relay you some lakes that are loaded with slime darts. I caught dozens of them in September and October while bass fishing.

Usually if the lake has a lot they will play in the winter too-send me a PM, will not keep anything over 2lb (smaller pikos are better for pickling) Thx

Tim, I’m pretty new to this site so I’m not sure where your located or what area you fish. If you are around Brainerd lakes area I might be able to help……

Big Marine 100%. You wont catch many over 20 inches but you will chase flags all day long.

Here in the Saint Cloud area: Upper Spunk near Avon, Big Lake Near Richmond, and Grand Lake near Rockville come to mind. All of them seem to have a endless supply of 17-24″ Snot Rockets. I have never ice fished them so no help with that, But I’m sure any of the weedflats will have plenty.

Pleasant lake in Annandale seems to have plenty of 19 3/4″ pike when we fish it for league. Never have fished it through the ice.
