Monday fishing

I didn’t care what some little rodent said about seeing his shadow or not, so I headed down to Harlan on Monday to try my hand on some actual open water. Had a mostly slow day, but did manage to get a few flatheads in later on in the afternoon after receiving a few friendly hints from some guys who fish there more than myself. Even though the water is cold, some of the flatties were aggressive. This was one of the nicer fish caught during the day today, caught by Aric. Weighed right around 24 pounds. All our fish were released.

It was better than sitting on the couch!

Hey, that wall in the background looks familar B!

Glad to see you were able to get on some fish. Don’t think I’ll make it back down to try it again, heading to KS this week.

Good to hear the water is flowing through the lake down there. A couple of years ago we thought it might not ever flow again. Great job guys. The open water season will be full blown soon.
