If things work out, we’ll be headed to the sisters cabin this weekend. If nothing else, I hope to get into some bull gills.

We are on a lake known to produce big bluegills, so I might just fish for them. When on a lake that can yield trophies, its a good idea to concentrate on them.
Practice CPR. Those gills are going to if not already on beds.Take the big ones out and he smaller ones will take over.
I rarely keep fish. The big ones are definitely going back. I might keep a few for shore lunch once I determine a smaller year class that has a lot of numbers or if I gut hook a fish.
I am hoping they are on the beds. I figured it might be good timing since central Minnesota they were just going on the bads a couple weeks ago.
