You have 0 activity associated with your account on IDO and want people to click a link you posted with a clickbait statement? I should not respond or click that link according to the forced 3 hour long email training from last week. IDO is a great group of people who are willing to help people out. Are you willing to share some more information about what this post is about? I am not willing to click the link to find out.

The link looks to be to Bayport Fire Dept for a fundraiser I assume. But I get your point Rodwork.

It’s a Bayport fireman ran ice contest. He has multiple other posts in the ice fishing section.

Not this guy but another guy does.

The Bayport Fire Department services several miles of the wild and scenic St. Croix River and recreational fishing is a fun and treasured pastime in our community. With that sentiment in mind, we are excited to announce our 1st Annual Bayport Fire on Ice Fishing Tournament!

The tournament is being run using FishDonkey, the premiere on-line, app based tournament management system. This allows us to host the tournament across the entire state of Minnesota and provides the tools to document and submit entries for the tournament while allowing for a sustainable catch and release program.

If you’re a first time user of FishDonkey, before you head out on the Ice, take the time to get the FishDonkey app setup and understand its use. Check out this Tip-Sheet for more helpful info.

Prize is awarded for the most Mudpuppy’s caught! Mudpuppy’s are rare, strange-looking salamander creatures that would be a novel, prized catch to most, but are nuisance bait robbers to Sturgeon anglers on the St. Croix River. So why not do our best to bring back some love for these species of special conservation concern and make their catch and release worth something! Winner will receive a Custom Sturgeon Rod built by local rod builder (and Bayport Fire Captain) Brandon “Lil Boots” Johnson.

Participants from all states are allowed, however fish must be caught in a Minnesota water or Minnesota border water.
This is a MULTISPECIES tournament with the top three contestants getting one entry each in a drawing for the top three prizes.
All fish entered in the tournament will be photographed, measured, videoed and recorded in the FishDonkey app.
    Categories:
Longest Walleye or Sauger (no video required of release)
Longest Sturgeon (video required of release)
Longest Northern Pike (no video required of release)
Most MudPuppy (no measurement, only video of catch and release)
Leaderboards will be updated throughout the contest so check the app to follow the tournament progress.
Official rules can be found in the FishDonkey app.
    Have Fun and FISH ON!
