Humminbird/Lakemaster Water Level Offset?

    What is the “default” water level on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River on my HB 788ci? What would be the convertion to water level i.e. (14ft = +7) on the water level offset feature or something along those lines? It would be nice to be able to look up the river level and set your offset prior to heading to the water.

    Hmmmm…I don’t do it that way. Not saying it won’t work though.

    I wait until I am on the water–wherever it is. Then I check the depth and change the offset to match what I see.

    I love that feature and the feature that allows you to “color” certain depths. Extremely handy.

    Maybe somebody does what you are looking to do…

    I primarily fish pool 3&4 so it would be nice to know the conversion. I guess I can figure it out the next few times I fish.
