They have a Navionics ap for iPhone, it sells for $10. Anyone use this ap? I think it would be pretty handy especially if you are fishing in boat other than your own. Thoughts?

I think most people who have smart phones and are fishermen carry this app, very useful to help pass time at work and works well on the water.

Thanks I just bought an iPhone the other day and saw this ap, I got pretty excited of course, but wanted to see what other fishermen thought of it. Thanks again!

I have it on my Ipad. What a great ap. I can bench-fish any lake before I get there since it has all lake topo maps.
I often wanted to look a a lake on gps when my boat was parked out in the driveway or parking lot. I can plan a milk run with my buddies in the motel the night before we hit the lake.

I have it on my Evo. Every bit worth the money.

Is it $10 for ALL that navionics has on ALL of their chips, or do you have to buy the N/Canada/W/whatever regions separately?

Is it a $10 one-time-fee, or is it yearly, or pay for updates, etc?

Does it work well as a far as GPS location vs map location with regards to accuracy?

Seems like a very cool app…
