Excellent Fishing in the Tailrace

    Excellent fishing in the tailrace below the Garrison Dam continues this summer, and this bite usually lasts into late fall. Fish are caught both by casting off shore and boat fishing. A good variety of species is available with most anglers targeting walleyes. Fishing is typically better in the low light periods.
