I just picked up 2 of these today. One for the console and one for the bow. Unless you are fishing deep, very deep like hundreds of feet I dont thing the CHIRP makes much difference.

So how should I mount the transducer? I have a tiller Allumacraft Dominator with a 60hp. My current transducer is on the left side of the motor as you look at it from the rear. This transducer is long compared to my current transducer. I also have a speed wheel mounted. Shouldn’t need that correct? Thanks. Shawn

Put it where your old one is and throw out the speed wheel.

There should be a tag on the transducer cable, near the jack, that identifies the transducer.
