Garlic – The First Sign of Spring.

Not much of a picture, but I always get a little smile going when the garlic starts popping up in the spring.

my wife’s hostas popped out of the ground o noticed today. Same with the rubarb. My winter onions are finally showing as signs of life also. the sediums came out of hibernation ad well. We’ll get there sooner or later.

I’m amazed how fast my garlic grows even in this cold weather. Nothing from our hostas yet. This has gotta be the coldest spring I can remember, but hey, we could be living in North Dakota.

You know…you guys are being very offensive to all the vampires out there. What’s next…discussing silver bullets and wooden stakes?

Chives poked through about 10 days ago. My garden gets sun for most of the day.

With the nicer weather yesterday I was out dinking around with the garden and noticed my garlic coming up along with the strawberries. 4th year with the strawberries and they are really starting to take over the area they are planted in. I do cut them back, but man they really spread out and go!
