For those of you that are interested there was a pretty good walleye bite on Saturday. Contrary to all the reports the fish were biting on the South end of the lake in 6-10 ft of water. Jig and a fathead were our bait of choice. There were a good number of people fishing and most seemed to be catching. As the sun set on Sat. there was a buzz in the air, a mayfly hatch! Needless to say we didn’t see a walleye after that, though the northerns were still hittin. Pretty tough!!
