Great last day of season and quick ice outing!

    Went out one last time chasing pheasants as my g/f was bugging me to get out one last time before the season ends on Monday. Didn’t have much hope but ended up seeing plenty, went 3/3 on shots and we were done at 10:00!

    Drilled a quick hole in the pond and had 13 gills in 30 min, 6 of which were 9-10″, kept 4 for the fryer!

    My g/f even found her first “sheds” as she termed it, even though they are still attached to the skull!

    I’ll be darned, there IS a dog! Didn’t notice the first time through…beautiful dog too. Treat ’em both well, they’re keepers!
