Smallmouth Trip

    We’re heading to Francis Case to chase smallies over Memorial Day weekend. We’ll hit walleyes for a meal or two, but the main focus will be smallies. What are some of your go to lures for these fish on this lake?

    I was there in late March below the dam. We had good walleye catches using blue jig heads with blue tails tipped with minnows. When hunger strikes… Head for the casino. The chicken on the buffet is awesome!
