    So do you guys think we’ll be able to fish the opener on the lake or will it be trolling up by the Valley View Motel?

    lookin more like the valley view, or tollin the driveway down to the circle k on traverse.

    My dad and I use to fish Big Stone on the opener for years, but the last time out there was 12+ years. We use to always troll but was never real confident with that approach. What’s the preferred method on that body of water?

    Roger, That’s about the time I started going there.. We’ve had some great years but only when the weather was decent. Opener for the past 8 years has been good like 2 times.

    We’ve done well lindy and pulling raps. Nothing too special about the methods, I know some guys jig quite a bit too but I’ve never tried it.

    How did you guys do?

    I was supposed to go tomorrow but the plan got Xd. Not going to make it out there this year
