54″ muskie out of Apple River

    check out the Star Tribune paper/website on 7/03/02.. 54″ muskie caught out the Apple River. don’t know where they were at, but nice fish.

    SteveO!!! Why aren’t we out there chasing those Apple muskies???? VERY close to home and with results like those available, why not?

    Anything said about technique or lure?

    we have to get out and try for those bad boys. they were wading and throwing topwaters. caught it on their last cast. sounded like a pretty good battle. beautiful fish and they let it go so it’s still up there!!
