regulation change on the wisconsin river?

    Ihave heard some rumors that there might be some changes to legal lengths of small mouth bass,catfish,and musky.Have you heard of this? Oppose or favor what do you think?

    I didn’t go to the meeting here but rumor has it that the smallmouth limit of 18″ and only 1 fish over that limit got shot down 50-3. Thats just in Crawford Co. I’ll bet that all the other counties would get a vote too.

    Proposed rules like this really get my goat. I fish the lower Wisconsin alot and have had no problem with catching SM Bass. Why they feel the need to tamper with the regulations is beyond me. Usually more complicated regulations leads to fewer fisherman. Whats ironic is their considering more complicated rules for bass at the same time their trying to simplify some of the complex designations of the trout streams.
