Been chasing perch on Lake Winnebago. Had some jumbo’s going before the great freeze and repositioned this weekend to find them again. A little slow, but we will keep moving. Close to 2 feet of ice on most of the lake and the roads and cracks are show on a picture from Sunk. Slow jigging waxies with a camera, as the bite is extremely lite. The whitebass are biting off of Merrit, but we remain on the hunt for big perch. Just a couple of weeks before sturgeon spearing. Could be a short season with thick ice and clear water.

Yep Keith, I am going out on a limb to say you’re from the same stock as Kenny!!! Great Perch and was looking forward to the possibility of meeting/seeing you at one of the H.S. Ice Fishing Contests, but I am just not going to have enough time to get that off the ground this year. Started teaching school and had to go back to school, plus bartending and reffing… Just too busy!!! Looking forward to getting Mercer into the fold next year!!!
