Some buddys and I decided to go out to mazaska and french. we got out to mazaska at about 6:30am and the bite was on! got some nice gills and eater papermouths. The bite slowed down at about 8:30am so we decided to go to french and it was quite a finiky bite, but we managed to catch them til about noon, that was when most of the group but taran and I stayed out The bite turned on again at 3. at french we had to sort thro some dinks. the biggest fish of the day was a 12 and a half inch crappie 
and one of my buddys dustin got a 12 incher also. the best choice of bait was an orange gill pill on either a waxie or crappie minnow. All in all a good day and it was great to get out fishing and try out tarans new portable ice shack!!!
