Anyone having any luck finding them with the warm spring were having? Off work all week and planning on targeting some pannies.

I havn’t been able to get out with this wind we have been having. Seems mother nature blows up a storm every time I get a day off. I’ll try to report if i get out fishing some ponds in the rochester area.

I have had some success on a smaller metro lake. The crappies I found are hanging on the edges of large shallow flats in 5 to 12 feet of water. They have been biting on crappie minnows on a plain hook set at about 3 to 4 feet down.

Tonka has some going. Been fishing the new weeds in 10-12 feet of water using black/chartruse(sp?) tubes.

The water needs to warm up more before the fish hit the shallows.

Had a big muskie(38+ incher)take my crappie for a ride before letting go on Saturday. I thought I had a bass on that took me into the weeds as I could not move it.
