Went fishing for a few days and didnt catch 1 fish. I was fishing in 26 fow. Tried shiners, rainbows, fatheads, jigging spoons, blade baits etc. Wasnt on a good plowed road and got chewed out for driving too fast. I had no idea the speed limit was soo slow, just trying to make it through the snow drifts and not get stuck in my minivan. Was nice getting up north again though. Just wish i knew how to catch a fish.
I did manage to catch some zebra mussels though haha.
Those mini vans are some heavy hogs ya know… 
I am guessing Liberty if the roads were lacking plowing???
Ice is over 24″ so 20-25mph would not cause damage with your vehicle weight. Perhaps if the road had been plowed that you paid for you would not have had to “speed”.
There are always 2 sides to every story, just shrug it off. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, who knows.
Fishing can get tough but mobility is key as is staying away from the masses.
