The weather has been warm here too but the nights are getting down to the single digits so we have been making ice nightly. I walked out a mile on the Flats and had 6 inches all the way drilling every 100 yards or so. The main lake has just crusted over but that is only about 20% of the lake. The fishing hasn’t been bad for walk out limiting the choices. It is actually kind of fun to be out without anybody driving up and asking questions. We will be out with snowmobiles in the areas we have checked out so we will be covering more of the lake. I tryed to spear but the spot I was at was pretty murky yet. It should settle down soon. If you don’t mind walk out or snowmobile fishing we’re good to go. Mike
