So my FW and I are planning to spend a week or so in the UP in mid-September and will be taking the boat to fish some, as well as hike and just look around the area. Any recommendations on lakes to fish and/or cabins to rent? Been looking on different web sites and don’t know where to start. Would be nice to leave the boat in the water, but not opposed to trailering it to try different lakes. I did find some reports about fishingCopper Harbor for splake so we’ll prob give that a try one day.
