After an unproductive night two weeks ago got out last night for my second cat trip this year on pool 9 and managed one 39 incher. Hit a sucker in about 15 ft of water off the main channel.

Are you seeing spawn activity?
Friday we had 4 fish in the boat, 20 lbs was the largest. Not a mark.
Saturday we had 2 fish in the boat. A 47 and a 27. Both showed spawning marks.
Sunday in 1.5 hours we had one 35 lbs and it too had some markings.
Yep, it’s about that time again, eh Brian. This spring was a good one for flatties. I really hope they pick up right where they leave off at the end of July.

I love catching a 10ish pound flat with the marks of a big flat bite around it’s ear area!
Friday we had 9 fish in the boat, 4 were between 19 and 21 pounds.
