Finding Fishing spots

    Do anyone know of good places to camp and fish from the bank within 2 hours of Houston. Mainly for catfish, crappie, and bass.

    Most people on this site are in the Midwest. So I don’t think you’ll get much help from us if your in the Houston area.

    Henry give google satellite view a try. I find lots of common spots to fish from shore by looking for water in satellite view. Watch for roads that have a right of way that goes by the water and look for bare areas around the bank from people fishing there. Good way to scout new water when on the computer at work.
