Finally (hopefully) Getting to Roch to Ice Fish

    I know I’ve posted on here about trying to get to Rochester-area waters but so far this winter it hasn’t worked out. Well with an empty house this weekend I think it’s going to finally happen. Still torn between SCR and Chester Woods (or others if the fishing’s been good).

    Anyone have any recent reports they’d care to share to sway my decision? I’m currently leaning Chester Woods because I’ve never ice fished there before, although the thought of catching a norther on SCR is pretty appealing.

    SCR has been very crowded lately. To the point of not being able to park. Chesterwoods is a great place as is silver creek. To be honest I recommend Chester for big pan fish, but if you want a chance at pike go to scr. If you do go to scr go early
