whats the best weight to use when trolling harnesses? do i just put some weight in front of the harness where it connects to my main line? i will be mainly trolling them on the winnebago chain. and does anybody have a depth chart for all the different size weights? thanks for any help.

Inline trolling weights in front of the harness. Figure with 1 oz weight the depth will be half the amount of line let out at 1 mph. Another good option is the 50/50 method using snap weights, let out 50 feet add snap weight and let out another 50 feet, use 1 oz, 2 oz, and 3 oz depending on the depth your targeting.

1oz inlines or snap weights. Like said above 20′ of line at 1mph should be around 10′ deep. Shoot me a PM if you want some more Winnebago info.
