Escanaba?

I am wondering if anyone has stayed at the Sunset Motel or EconoLodge in Escanaba, MI? The family is looking for a safe and clean place to spend the night in that area. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t been up there for the last couple years, but I always stayed at Shorewood Motel in Gladstone. Reasonable rates, clean _BASIC rooms. Only takes a few minutes to get anywhere from there. Having the boat filled with gear, we never had a problem.

We always stay at Bay Shore Resort

Resort has own bait shop, close to town, right next to the boat ramp with a sheltered harbor. The place has it all!
