Leaving a week from Saturday for a week of fishing Erie out of Port Clinton. I’ve never been there before, what gear will I need? Does anyone have a lake chip for a bird I could rent for the week? Any other advice? Thanks

Stop in at Happy Hooker. They will have everything you will need. For size and numbers, I would guess that you are going to do best trolling. Michigan Stingers and Sticks baits is where I would start.
Wish I was going with.

I’m leaving Sunday 5/18 3:00 am and will be there until Thursday 5/22. I’m staying at Little Ted’s. There are 5 guys with 2 boats coming from WI. We’ll fish north of Kelley’s or around the Bass Is, mostly west of Rattle Snake & Green or West Sister, obvioulsy report dependent. I’ve gone for 24 yrs in a row now and love it. I mostly troll crawler harnesses. If you want to give a shout on the radio we’ll probably be on 68. Bob Stick
We’re staying on Kelley Island and will be pulling harness’ as well.
My plan is to fish NW sie of Kelley’s when we get there Sunday afternoon. I may just see you out there. What type and color is your boat? I’m a burgandy & wheat Skeeter. I hope to see your net in the water a bunch of times. Good Luck and safe travels.
I have a big black and white Monark King 190, white Johnson with a white Honda kicker, can’t miss it. We should have the handheld radio, not sure what channel. We plan to start fishing Saturday afternoon. hopefully we see you out there catching as well. good luck.
