Hooking the boat up and heading North from Des Moines up to East Battle Lake on Thursday night to stay with friends. I’ve never fished it – MNDNR site looks like the eye population is strong. I welcome any information you guys are willing to offer. I would consider driving to other lakes within an hour or so as well. Thanks in advance.
