Well with moving to Brainerd this summer and having many more fishing opportunities I decided now is as good of time as any to have the perfect boat. Meet my 2016 warrior 2090 with a 225 mercury pro xs on it! I’ve had it for about a month now and I can tell you I’ll never own another brand of boat. Warrior has it figured out. The ride is top notch and the pro tiller steering is unmatched. Looking forward to fishing more tournaments and comfortably fishing big bodies of water!

250 is a big outboard for a tiller! Parents have the exact same rig with a 150 Suzuki tiller.

    Nice boat.
What raingear do you wear? grin

Haven’t need it yet, fished in some decent waves and so far a dry ride. Shape of the hull beats any aluminum boat. Crossing waves I’d be soaked in my old alumacraft, dry as can be in the warrior!

Congratulations great set up. Hoping to pick my new 2090 up soon. I’m coming from Lund tiller boats I had in the past. Can’t wait. Good luck on the water!

I came from alumacraft, and aluminum boats are like a tin can on the water compared to these glass boats. Night and day difference in my experience! It tracks through the water 10x better than any aluminum boat. My alumacraft would slap the waves where the warrior cuts them. One thing I don’t have yet that I’m going to add is trim tabs. That’ll be nice to control the bow and left right leaning when crossing waves.

I went with the trim tabs and Warrrior steering. My first boat with trim tabs. I was told when I ordered from Dean that the trim tabs were not a must have but very nice to have.

Congrats. They’re called the “King of Tiller Boats” for a reason!
