Devils Lake ND first timer

    Hello everyone. A group of us are heading to Devils Lake Friday morning. None of us have ever fished it. Any tips to help shorten the learning curve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

    We are heading out the first part of August for our first time. We hired a guide for the first day. I think the little extra money spent will help the 3 other days we are there.

    any good reports from up there? heard a lot of boats in howards bay, anything going in pelican or six mile bay?

    Tons of boats in Pelican. We talked to a couple different groups that caught a bunch of walleyes trolling shad raps in 8’ and less. Our best method was bottom bouncers and spinners tipped with Gulp. The Gulp killer crawler outfished live crawlers and leeches. We never left West Bay
