Man oh man, Turk knows the Croix!!!

Every spot we tried we landed fish! Saturday, early am, started out lead lining with #5 shad raps, keying in
on insided turns and break lines in 24-26ft of water! ALl in all 20-25 walleye and sauger combined were landed, with
yours truly getting a decent 23 incher in 26 feet of water!

Truly a fun and educational day when fishing with Turk! I hope he can provide more explicit info on the bite and locations, since I am still
a green horn on the Croix only fishing her 5 or 6 times!

With the heat of the day pounding us,we decided on ending the day on a high note, keying in on surfacing white bass. WHat fun!
We threw 1/8 oz. rooster tails, catching in the neighborhood of 25 white bass. What a scrappy fish they are!!

    Thanks for tuning in!!

I may have to give Turk a call myself. I fished the Croix Saturday morning and was completely shut out. It was my first time on the Croix this year and the first time I was skunked in over a year. NO GOOD!

I fished from Catfish bar to Anderson Point. I talked to 5-6 boats and 1/2 we shut out and the others had 1 fish.
