Saw that on the news as I was getting ready this morning. How can he see his shadow when it is overcast? I’m calling B.S.

When does the groundhog NOT see his shadow on February 2? I don’t ever remember not having more winter on Feb 2.

Story I read today said the groundhog has seen its shadow 106 times out of the 126 years. But he has only been right 39% of the time. I just hope the ice stays until march. Then it can warm up so Syrup season can get underway.

The first half of February beyond tomorrow definitely looks unseasonably warm. I see mostly warmer than average temps through mid February, at least.
