Doing ribs this weekend. Looking for a savory bean recipe. Really not a fan of sweet baked beans.
Check out atbbq.com. It would help if you already had something smoked to put in it but not necessary. Smoked hocks and bacon never hurt anybody. (not a doctor)
Here is another one that I have made. I like to add twice as much meat.
If you go on YouTube & type in cowboy beans you’ll see a guy named Kent rollings. He is kinda goofy but the stuff he makes looks really really good, he makes a lot of stuff.

Of the recipes I’ve run across. There will be added onions, peppers and garlic. Less brown sugar and molasses. Thanks for the replies.
