    FYI for anyone with tags heading to zerkle or Clark/steamboat area. Wildfire at about 7500 acres and growing.

    Here is a screenshot of the initial emergency closure. If this jumps Elk River Rd, the mid to northern region of 214 is a crap load of beetle kill and dead fall. Like having thousands of gallons of gas waiting to be ignited.

    flame Hopefully your area stays free of fires. We got pushed out of one unit last year in WY and that is no fun to pack up and move especially when your in them. I have two of they guys in my group leaving tomorrow for CO but will be a ways from that.

    We were doing a helicopter drop in this year. Too close for comfort with fires this year, so changed units and geography. Complete new adventure this year
