Is anybody doing any good on the yellows after last snow storm? How are roads to get on lake?

March 1, 2011 at 1:14 am #942455The bite this year is no where close to what it was last year. Buckshot rattle spoons in green or orange work best, change out the stock hook and put a single or a little smaller treble on. The last couple hours of light has been the best. One good thing is that I have caught alot more crappies and perch than in any years past. They aren’t big but maybe the dredgeing is helping them out. Could get good in a few years
March 3, 2011 at 2:50 pm #943466So how is the ice? Are there still good places to get to the yellows?
March 6, 2011 at 12:48 am #944392plenty of ice you can go just about anywhere on the lake. Just stay away from the far east side where the airrator is
