    I am assuming

    YELLOWS = Yellow bass (similar to white bass)
    Shorteyes = small walleyes

    I’m sure both. This time of year you can catch them real shallow as they get ready to spawn. We catch them off our dock by the dozens. Contests to see how many casts in a row you can catch one. First 15 feet or so out from the bank. They come thru in packs usually males chasing a female or two.

    Yes yellow bass and sub legal walleyes and you can choose how you want to catch them wade or take the boat. They aren’t quite up on the shore yet just a little ways out and they eat anything they can fit in there mouth. I suggest chartruese of anything you can put on a jig thats 1/16 oz. or lighter and that is under 2″ long about an 1″ to 1.5″ is the best size plastic for these tastey panfish. And remember the DNR says don’t throw any back so there the perfect fish to keep for a few fish fries.
