Spending my time in the Eau Claire area the last week, caught 18 last Wednesday when it was un-Godly hot still, 38 yesterday morning and 28 this morning in post cold front conditions, green jigs seems to be the hot color going as light as possible, caught some on paddle tails also and hair. Minnows are the prefered bait, running out each of the last two days, caught alot more in the slot as the week has gone on, water temps have dropped from mid 70’s last week to mid to upper 60’s, with temps continuing to drop fishing should only get better. I did get quite a few nice smally’s mixed in. Depth was 6-12 FOW working around wood…….
