Fishing report for the Chetek chain and surrounding lakes. The fishing for nice bluegills/crappie/perch has been phenomenal for the past two weeks. Been catching 8-9 inch bluegills on the north end of the Chetek chain pretty much at will along with 8-11 inch perch. Crappie fishing has been decent after dark according to others I have talked with. I have been doing my crappie fishing on Potato Lake and the Island Lake chain with alot of 10-11 inch fish and a few in the 12-14 range. Here are some pictures, the bluegills and perch are from Prairie on the Chetek chain, the Crappies are from the Island chain and Potato.
