    Heading to Cedar lake in 2 weeks to do some bass fishing. I have never fished this lake before. I was hoping the IDO community could share some tips and tricks of how to get some bass on this lake. Thank you

    Real tough bite on Thursday.
    4 fish for the day, but all drag takers.
    This 20 and 17, plus a 15 Largemouth
    and a 24 inch northern pike.
    two on a lindy
    1 on 1/4 jig
    1 on a 1/8 jig
    no particular color
    slow presentation
    10-14 FOW

    scum frogs same places

    Thanks guys! Eyecatcher those are some nice bass. What was the water temp? We are going to be targeting bass and neither of us have fished the lake so any info helps.

    Hoys and the public are both shallow!!!!

    Most boats won’t be able to get their rims wet. I know i can’t.

    Does anyone know what the water temp is and if the bass are on there beds on Cedar?

    Temp should be ~60°

    That’s what a few of the surrounding lakes are at.

    Listen to what Rod suggested, he did a lot better than we did. Didn’t see many people pulling fish in Monday. Water was 63.
