Pool 4

What kind of shape is the river in at pool 4? Do they still have dam 3 wide open or have the shut the gates yet? I’m going to be there Monday – Tuesday and am in hopes they have slowed the current a little. With these continuing rains, I don’t know when the river is going to settle down.

As i sit inside the bait shop looking out, I cant tell you if they shut the gates for sure. Flow is up from normal summer time rates but not unfishable.
Had a few reports come in today so far with fair results. Some walleye, cats, sheephead and strippers showing themselfs.

Jerry, I’m out tonight and hopefully Saturday.

I was out for an hour last night just to see what was fishable. The gates are close to half way down.

I stuck a 29 pound cat and came in. You should be good.

Picked up a 4-5# channel off the dock at Evert’s yesterday… things were looking a bit more normal.

Then again that was a week later than the original post.
