Finally got those blasted walleye to stop biting! Had a half dozen bites this weekend and one short run when fishing flats. None landed.
Seen two in the shallows at the outskirts of a lamppost. The flathead season should be in full force by next weekend, in the meantime patience and perfection is key to putting fish in the boat. They are not biting very aggressive but appear to be moving rather quickly. Stay tuned, by the end of the year I plan to have the state record.
