Categorizing Trail Cam Pics

Without getting horribly detailed just yet, please give me some ideas of how you categorize your deer trail cam pics??? I’ve done them in monthly time, bucks and does, and rack size… Give me some more/better ideas… Thank You In Advance!!!

I am similar but also add wind. I think you will see a trend of which bucks you see on which cam vs wind direction. Which then you can key in on the next time you have similar wind/temp. Granted i run all of mine on public so i am unsure of what wind vs private would do.

I name each buck and keep keep them in a folder on the computer

My camera is just set up in my back yard so mine is real simple. Bucks, Other critters, funny, all others.

I do keep some named buck folders, but it’s VERY difficult in our area to really keep track of who’s who. We have a lot of typical up and comers, 4.6.8 pointers and I just can’t tell a lot of times who’s who next season.
