Recent info on Calamus?

    Going to Calamus 7/30 – 8/2 any info on walleye, wipers, and bass?

    Haven’t heard much other than catfish lately, and they were doing real well up there on them. I can bet trolling will be the best attack for eyes and you’re bound to run into some wipers too. Good luck up there.

    Our last two trips up to Burwell have been busts. After a great spring and early summer of live baiting; we followed the fish up the lake with a fantastic trolling bite. I think we got spoiled. Most of our fish came from the north shoreline.

    If I was to go up this weekend I think that I would spend some times on the hump out from the john on the swimming beach at Homestead Knolls and up to York Point. On the south side the drop off of Willow Point could.be holding fish as will many of the points down to Buckshot ramp.
