I fished Brushy Friday, with very little to show for it. 2 of us ended up with 5 crappies, a few small gills, and a couple 8 inch walleyes. The fishing has definitely been off the last few weeks. We did drive out still, and found the ice to be 18 inches where we were fishing.

Somebody is going to go through the ice before the season is over. It looked like a river for the 1st 100 yards off the north boat ramp on Saturday. If we’re lucky the thaw will be quick so that nobody will be tempted to drive on the ice when it starts to go. No fish is worth it, just keep that in mind everybody.
