Brushy Creek-Iowa?

    This forum has not had a post since last fall. Has anybody been there lately. If so how much ice and any success?

    No success for me, but plenty of ice. I was there Monday and it was over a foot. Tournament there tomorrow, but I may be fishing anyway.

    fished Brushy Saterday the 10th and there was 17 inches of Ice. Fished close to 12 hours and only caught maybe 10 fish all day. Talked to alot of other guys out there and results seemed to be the same no matter where you fished on the lake. It realy hasn’t been good at all this winter.

    I’ll be down there next weekend and will let you know how I do. Know of any good hotels in Fort Dodge that are cheap?? I usually just sleep in my truck.
    I’m sick of looking at all the ice up here in MN.
    Getting the rogues, rattletraps, and jigs ready this week.

    Ranger 777, are you guys bass fishing on Brushy? My dad ice fishes the heck out of it but I’ve still never been.

    Is this a decent bass lake?
