I drove out to Branched Oak tonight and the lake is back up. It still has a foot or so to go before it is back to full pool, but it is looking good. All the brush that has grown around the lake in the last 4 years is all in the water. This should help the bass population out for a few years if the water levels can stable out especially for a spawn. It appears area 2 is accessible again from the main lake. I think I’ll be heading out there tomorrow night and seeing if I can get the crappie to bite. I let you know how I do.
