    Any recent reports from Gull – headed up there on Saturday. What’s the water temp? Thanks.

    Smaller lakes around there were 58 degrees last night.

    I will be at gull the week of the 4th…..Have not fished the lake in years!

    In between family stuff I should get out chasing some eyes early in the morning or in the evenings.

    Any advice on technique or areas of the lake to look during that time of year?

    If you are going around the 4th you will not catch walleyes during the day. I assume because of the insane amount of noise in the water. I would recommend fishing at night weed edges and shallow. Gull can turn to a good night bite by then. The water is heating up 63 yesterday but it is not very warm below.

    If you want some awesome action the Gull Lake Canal will be hot by then for bass. Some of the best in the area IMO. Big and aggressive.
