I drew a tag (finally … whoot! whoot! whoot! soooo excited) … first season – Northern, WI. Just purchased FOXPRO Inferno Call. Looking to communicate with hunters that have knowledge, experience, success hunting Bobcats using calls in WI.
I will be hunting in Sawyer County, WI.
Did some reading online, just can’t seem to find to much WI information / firsthand WI hunts / hunters that used calls rather then dogs.
Well, how did you do?
I did not get a bobcat. Hunted using calls only. Did call in a couple of coyote.
Hopefully you dumped them?

Patience is the key with Bobcats and calling. My dad used to hunt coyotes using predator calls (he used the mouth-type). Bobcats take their time coming in and are very wary, unlike coyotes that come running towards the distress call like it’s a dinner bell.
Bobcat is definitely on my bucket list!
