Bluffs boat launch on opener

    First time fishing opener on the Croix. Recently started fishing it last summer so still figuring it out a bit but had some decent outings. I live near St. Croix Bluffs launch so planning to put in there. Does it fill up pretty quick Sat morning? Just wondering what I can expect as far as traffic at the launch and out on the river?

    I’m guessing the narrows at the Kinni will be a hot spot. I thats to busy, I’m gonna try running up towards the 94 bridge in Hudson stopping in various spots along the way.

    Any info appreciated. Thanks!

    There will be a line at the front gate at 6am waiting for the gate to swing open. If you put in right away in the morning you will get a parking spot. Any later and you risk having to wait for a parking spot to open up. Get there early!
